Today, I want to share with you a very special post of this blog.
First of all, I want to comment that from my point of view being reflective as a teacher is very important. Also, we should encourage students to be reflective on their own learning. The use of reflections in the classroom is a powerful practice for both teachers and students.
So, now I'm going to make a reflection about what I've learnt during the course. I had great memories while I was creating my final artifact which summarizes this course. Here you can see it!
Time flies and I needed to reflect on how much I've learnt about ICT:
I learned how to embed an online tool in my learning journal. Also, how to change the size of these things. (This has been a bit more difficult but in the end I've got it).
I learned from my teacher and my classmates and also I learned from myself.
I improved my digital competences.
I learned that ICT requires time but it´s more than worthy when you know how to use each of the app that we've seen.
If I have to choose my favourite activity is the video clip. Using the chroma it was really hard and we have to spend a lot of time, but it was really fun. Also I have to say that another activity that I really like it was the Slideshow because I discovered more tools apart from Power Point or Prezi that I have been using all my life, so from now on I will use Genially.
If I have to choose one activity that I don't like is the mindmap. I found it difficult, I would use the traditional way to create mindmaps. Mindmeister has not stopped giving me headaches.
To sum up ICT in education is important for the 21st century. Although I sometimes felt frustrated using ICT, I think I have learned many resources that I did not know and that really are very useful to carry them out in our lessons, because as teachers of the 21st century we must use ICT as one of the main resources for our work.
I would like to thank to Francisco for his patience and his advices!
It has been a pleasure!
